Bagaimana cara atau strategi menyiasati soal toefl (listening)

In the four-part test that exists in every organization of the TOEFL test, ie Listening, structure, reading and writing, is the first part of the Listening test. This section is intended to test the participants' ability to understand spoken English used in North America. In addition, this test is also intended to test the ability of the participants to understand the conversation, both Short and Longer Conversations Dialogues, and understand the core problem, which strengthens the argument put forward information and the details about the subject of discussion or lecture, either in the form of Academic Discussions or Academis Lectures.
For those who've followed the TOEFL test, either once or several times, it is seen that the test has been designed as a form of English test scores gained international recognition, to date, there are three forms of organization of the TOEFL test, namely :
1.      Paper-Based Test (PBT)
2.      Computer-Based Test (CBT)
3.      Institutional Testing Program (ITP)

Stance to a subjects and verbs
In general, a sentence in English should have the One Subject and One Verb. The question that often arises in TOEFL is the removal of a subject or a verb or both. Sometimes the sentence in question like to add a subject or a verb that does not need to be.
·         In the English sentence has at least one SUBJECT and one VERB
·         Finding Subjects and Verbs in a sentence

To facilitate subsequent lessons it needs to be distinctive mark each subject, verb, etc.
-          SUBJECTS are underlined One
-          verbs are underlined two
-          adverbs were dashed line
-          adjectives were wavy lines

The example in the matter of Toefl :
                        was ringing continuously for hours

Steps to answer :
1.       Finding subjects and verbs
Identified there is a Verb and singular that was. So the subject is required to complete these questions.
2.       Analyzing Answers
(A)   is not a subject
(B)   a singular subject
(C)   a plural subject (much / more than one)
From the analysis of the response, it can be concluded that the Phone is the right answer because the verb is singular in the matter, the subject should be singular as well.
